When electric shutters fail to lift or make grinding noises, the internal tubular motor has often burnt out. We carry heavy-duty replacements to fit all standard commercial barrel sizes.
If a shutter is dead, we trace the fault. Using digital multimeters, we test the electrical continuity from the mains, through the key switch, into the control board and safety edges.
If your shutter over-runs or stops halfway, the internal limit switches have slipped. We mechanically or digitally recalibrate these limits to ensure perfect closure.
